hi,
new to power director free trial, so far. had been using adobe premiere elements for years but it's painfully slow. PD is much quicker. just finishing up a music video but i can't seem to figure out how to set the start and end points for rendering. did a test last night and there's almost a minute of blank before the content starts. need the rendering to start later. the end seemed to stop after the last clip.
thanx in advance for your help and patience,
george

You simply have about a minute of blank content at the start of your timeline then. By default, PD always produces the full timeline content. If you put a photo out at 10min but the majority of your video ends at 5min, you will have ~5min of blank before the photo. Likewise, at the start of the timeline, first real content at 1min you will have 1min of blank prior to your real content.

hey steven,
thanx for getting back so quickly. after i posted my question i went back to PD18 to nose around, stumbled on the little yellow triangles you're referring to. i split them out to only include the content, not the one minute of blank before everything starts. rendered another test and the same thing- it started at the very beginning and included 59 seconds of blank. i'm still baffled any idea why that could've happened?
